Most people who are 25 years and older, know of the Professional Bowlers Tour from watching it on Saturday afternoon. Now in recent years, the PBA Tour has been shifted to Sunday afternoons and given an overhaul from top to bottom.

For as long as the PBA tour has been around, so has the PBA Regional Tour. The Regional Tour is viewed as a "Farm System" or testing ground for Professional Bowling. The Regional program is divided into 7 Regions throughout the U.S. year round and each has their own top 20 ranking and season standings.

These tournaments allow the Full time PBA Tour player to make a few extra dollars as well as stay sharp for the upcoming tour season. For the part time Pro, up and coming rookies as well as the Local armature seeking a future in Pro Bowling can compete on today's tough oil patterns and compete with the top players in the country.

The Regional tournaments also allow other part time members or local Amateur bowlers with the criteria to bowl in the event, experience what it's all about and test their skills. The Regional event is organized by the Centers management and usually by the Bowling centers local or in-house Pro. With the help of local merchant sponsors and even larger Corporate sponsorships, these tournaments allow the local league player or any bowling enthusiast to see their favorite Pro players and get a closer look at the reality of our sport.
